According to a Roy Morgan single source survey conducted in the 12 months to March 2023 in Australia, ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages (RTDs) were the most popular among those aged 18 to 24 years, with over 56 percent of respondents in this age category reporting drinking RTDs during the survey period. In comparison, only 11.1 percent of those 80 years and older indicated that they drank RTDs in the 12 months to March 2023. RTDs were overall more popular among younger Australians.
