According to a 2022 survey conducted in the United States, 37 percent of TikTok users would switch to using Instagram Reels if TikTok was banned in the country. Overall, users aged 18 to 24 years were just as likely to switch to Instagram Reels as they were to not shift to any other platform at all. For those aged 25 to 34 years, one in five said they would switch to using YouTube Shorts.
