Based on self-submitted car history reports, sedans were Romania's most popular vehicle body type in 2022 and between January and June 2023. Sport-utility vehicles climbed from fourth most common car type to second in the first five months of 2023, with a share of 23.2 percent of the self-submitted used car reports.
