In 2023, Honda's car fleet's average energy consumption for subcompact battery-electric passenger cars was the highest compared to other electric vehicle manufacturers. On the other hand, Tata Motor's average subcompact BEV energy consumption stood at around 112 watt hours per kilometer and was the lowest in the same segment. Sport-utility vehicles and multi-purpose vehicles recorded on average higher rates of energy consumption. In this segment, Tata Motor also had the lowest average energy consumption.
