In 2023, the Hanbat Arboretum was the most visited tourist attraction in Daejeon, South Korea, with around 1.8 million visitors. This was followed by the Jangtaesan Recreational Forest with about 1.3 million visitors. While natural attractions such as parks, forests, and mountains made up the majority of Daejeon's leading tourist attractions, theme parks, museums, and activity centers were also popular.
