When asked if they were in favor or against restricting the advertising of foods high in sugar, fat or salt (HFSS) around schools and kindergartens, on TV, and on the internet at times when children typically used these media, 64 percent of consumers with a monthly houehold income of less than 1,500 euros from Germany stated they were (somewhat or very much) in favor of introducing such restrictions. This was the lowest share among all income brackets. The highest share was recorded for consumers with an income of 2,500 to 3,500 euros, at 69 percent.
