In 2023, the value of corporate deposits at the Bank of China exceeded 8.7 trillion yuan, which accounted for half of the bank's overall deposits. In total, the Bank of China recorded almost 22 trillion yuan in deposits and almost 50 percent were held in Chinese yuan.
