According to a survey on social media advertising conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2023, 40 percent of respondents from both genders in Singapore expressed their willingness to engage with sponsored advertisements on social media platforms tailored to their interests or preferences. Additionally, approximately 38 percent of female respondents and 37 percent of male respondents preferred to view sponsored social media advertisements due to the attraction of good offers or discounts.
