A survey from 2023 conducted in the United States revealed that only five percent of SVOD users were willing to increase their spending on streaming services compared to their current expenses. This was a significant shift from 2019 when 24 percent of consumers were open to higher expenditures. Conversely, in 2023, 35 percent of users believed that they spent too much on SVOD platforms and considered ways to reduce these costs.
