When asked if they were in favor or against restricting the advertising of foods high in sugar, fat or salt (HFSS) around schools and kindergartens, on TV, and on the internet at times when children typically used these media, 55 percent of consumers aged 40 to 49 from Germany stated they were (somewhat or very much) in favor of introducing such restrictions. This was the lowest share among all presented age groups. The highest share was recorded for respondents aged 14 to 29, at 73 percent.
