Male and female consumers across Germany generally agreed on their views towards restricting the advertising of foods high in sugar, fat, or salt (HFSS) around children. Two-thirds of both genders were (somewhat or very much) in favor of introducing such restrictions while a third of the respondents were against these limitations. There was, however, a marginally stronger response from the female interviewees; male respondents were slightly more indecisive.
