According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in Indonesia in July 2023, over 40 percent of both male and female respondents stated that they sometimes purchase an item after viewing an advertisement on social media. In contrast, around five percent of female respondents and six percent of male respondents stated that they never make a purchase after viewing a social media advertisement.
