In 2022, the according to the National Travel Survey of England, the share of the population who went on walks for twenty minutes once a week or more is higher than in the remaining population that claimed to take walks less frequently in all the age-groups. The age group 17 to 20 had the largest share of the population going out on walks three or more times a week, at 68 percent.
