According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2023, 71 percent of Chinese respondents who previously stated that they did not want to see social media advertisements felt that these ads interrupted their viewing experience on social media platforms. In India, 52 percent of the respondents stated that they did not trust ads shown on social media.
