During a survey among adults in the United States published in mid-2023, approximately 61 percent of respondents said brands needed to provide relevant benefits when including LGBTQ representation in their advertising. The acronym stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning persons. Around 56 percent mentioned partnering with the LGBTQ community or its organizations, while 53 percent cited amplifying LGBTQ voices.
