Cheaper vehicles advertised online in Italy had a higher rate of odometers rolled back: Around 14.4 percent of used cars purchased online at a price of up to 5,000 euros had their odometers tampered with, based on self-submitted car history reports. Used cars with a selling price between 20,000 and 30,000 euros and those priced betweem 15,000 and 20,000 euros ranked second and third most likely to be clocked.
