Startups in Romania had the total enterprise value of over nine billion euros in 2022, nearly eight times more than in 2017. Furthermore, Romania had the highest enterprise value in Southeast Europe (SEE), followed by Greece and Bulgaria. The total combined enterprise value of startups in the SEE region reached nearly 32 billion euros in 2022.
