According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2023, around 59.8 percent of female and 55.3 percent of male respondents stated that they considered customer reviews to be the most impactful type of advertisement on social media. Ads by already trusted brands were perceived as the most impactful among male respondents, at about 56.4 percent.
