Online travel agency usage in China 2023, by age group

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies (OTA) conducted in June 2023, 44 percent of respondents in China stated that they have used an online travel agency. The prevalence of OTA usage was the highest among those aged between 35 and 44 years, whereas the lowest among the respondents from 16 to 24 years old.

Among the total of 8,286 respondents, 2,392 were between 16 and 24 years old, 3,450 were 25 to 34 years old, 1,944 were 35 to 44 years old, 385 were 45 to 54 years old, and 115 were 55 years old or above.
