Change in share of people who talked about retailers for Hot Sale in Mexico 2023

Before the "Hot Sale" online sales campaign that took place in Mexico from May 29 to June 6, 2023, respondents in Mexico who preferred to purchase things online were asked to say whether they had talked to their friends and family members about the selected retail stores in the past two weeks. When compared to the previous year, the amount of respondents who talked about the supermarket chain Soriana increased by 1.7 percent and the amount of respondents who talked about La Comer increased by 1.4 percent. Of the Walmart owned retail stores, only Sam's Club saw an increase in respondents that talked about it compared to the previous year. The number of respondents who talked about discount store Bodega Aurrerá decreased by 0.4 percent and the number of those who discussed Walmart supercenters decreased by 6.2 percent.
