CCPA compliance progress among U.S. companies Q1 2022- Q4 2023, by revenue
Between the first quarter of 2022 and the fourth quarter of 2023, around 21 percent of observed companies in the United States with annual revenue of more than 100 million went from non-compliant to manual compliance concerning the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Those shifting from manual to automated compliance were approximately 14 percent. Compliance automation is the most effective and safe way for companies that need to meet requirements set by various data privacy regulations. Manual compliance, on the other hand, is more time-consuming and expensive.
