Between January 2020 and June 2023, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of the United States took law enforcement actions for data privacy and security violations against 12 companies providing online mobile services. The latest updated case was with Easy Healthcare Corporation, the developer of the fertility app Premom. The company is set to pay a penalty of 100 thousand U.S. dollars for violating users' data privacy. More specifically, the developer shared users' sensitive information with third parties without notifying users.
