According to a study conducted in Nigeria in 2023, the majority of respondents were willing to pay more in order to have a 24-hour power supply. In particular, 70 percent of men and 62 percent of women agreed with this suggestion. On the other hand, 21 percent of men and 26 percent of women reported that they refused to do so. Based on the same survey, most respondents believed their electricity bills did not align with their consumption.
