Imports from EU candidate countries to EU 2022

Over the period from 2002 to 2022, Turkish imports into the European Union grew almost five-fold, reaching 98 billion Euros in 2022. Other exporters in candidate countries of the EU grew similarly over the period, with Ukraine exporting around four times as much worth into the EU as in 2002, while Serbia's exports, which were less than three billion in 2004, reached over 18 billion Euros in 2022.

*Kosovo is administered under UN Security Council Resolution 1244/99. The state is recognized by 22 EU member states, but not by Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Slovakia. Its status as an independent country is contested by Serbia.
