In July 2022, respondents from Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, and Mexico were asked about whether the price of food they buy on a regular basis had gone up in the past three months. Almost all of the respondents in all countries said yes, with Argentina and Colombia leading with 99 percent, Brazil and Peru with 98 percent, and Mexico with 96 percent.
