In a recent survey conducted in the United States, people of different age groups were asked about their interest in watching Greta Gerwig's fantasy-comedy "Barbie" (2023) in theaters. Overall, younger consumers were more likely to be interested in seeing "Barbie" on the big screen. While 12 percent of moviegoers aged 18 to 29 had already seen the movie in theaters, 36 percent planned to do so but did not have the occasion yet.
