According to an April 2023 survey conducted in the United States, 63 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 years thought that governments should restrict AI's abilities to replace humans in creative and entertainment jobs, such as writers and animators. This sentiment was more prominent among 35-to-44-year-olds, where two thirds of respondents were in favor of such restrictions.
