In the first half of 2024, approximately 60 percent of programmatic out-of-home (OOH) advertising transactions in the United States occurred through custom private marketplace deals (PMPs). Around 32 percent took place via always-on PMPs. Differently from customized sales, always-on or evergreen ones can be used for any programmatic campaigns. Billboards were the leading format by share of programmatic OOH expenditure in the U.S.
