Between 2000 and 2022, the Frankfurt-based cargo terminal operated by Fraport shipped over 47 million metric tons of cargo. The largest figure was recorded in 2021 when approximately 2.3 million units were handled. In contrast, the lowest figure recorded thus far was in 2001, when the Germany-based air solutions company recorded just over 1.6 million metric tons of cargo.
