The majority of Japanese consumers showed the intention to eat plant-based meat alternatives. As revealed in a survey conducted in April 2023 in Japan, almost 57 percent of respondents wanted to eat plant-based meats at least to some extent, whereas 43.2 percent gravitated towards not wanting to try products like soy meats.
