In 2023, the low price of a product was the most relevant factor considered in Portugal when making a purchase, namely pointed out by 76 percent of respondents. The healthiness of the product was an important factor for 35 percent of respondents. The sustainability of the product was the third relevant criterion, chosen by 33 percent of those surveyed.
