The 2021 figure was taken from a report published by the Press Service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The 2022 figure was taken from another article published by Kazinform.
The 2023 figure was obtained from Energyprom.kz.
*The sum of the area burnt in Kazakhstan in the first five months of 2023 and the area lost to forest fires which occurred in June in the Abai Region.
