During a survey published in July 2023, approximately 78 percent of responding adult consumers in the United States said receiving direct mail from a brand they were particularly interested in featuring a single offer or promotion increased the likelihood of them opening the piece of direct mail. Similarly, 77 percent stated the same of direct mail with multiple offers or promotions. According to the same study, U.S. consumers' most common responses to direct mail were searching for the sending brand online or visiting its website.
