In 2022, the value of total assets in the financial system in Turkey amounted to about 16.6 trillion overall. Banks held the vast majority of the assets, totaling over 14 trillion. This was followed by insurance, reinsurance, and pension companies, claiming assets valued at 780.5 billion Turkish lira in the same year.
