Adults experiencing long COVID after COVID-19 by gender U.S. 2022-2024

A survey conducted from June 1, 2022 to September 16, 2024, found that experiencing Long COVID was more common among women than men in the United States. As of September 16, 2024, approximately 35 percent of women and 24 percent of men who ever had COVID in the U.S. experienced Long COVID symptoms.
