The Sonnavindar Wind Offshore Project is the largest offshore wind power plant under development in Norway. The prospective wind farm was announced in July 2023 and was expected to start operation in 2029. The Sonnavindar Wind Offshore Project will have a capacity of 3,000 megawatts and is being developed by Equinor, Norsk Hydro, and RWE Renewables.
