Gen Z processes in banking affairs in the UK 2024
Mobile banking was the primary method to process banking matters among UK bank account holders born between 1995 and 2012 in the first quarter of 2024. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, the share of Gen Z bank account holders who processed banking matters on smartphone or tablet was 73 percent. Online banking ranked second with 32 percent, surpassing branch banking with 27 percent.
