In 2022, 62.3 million individuals born between 1981 and 1996 were active mobile banking users, and this number is expected to grow even further in the coming years. The sharpest increase in mobile banking adoption, however, is expected from Gen Z. Mobile banking adoption for individuals born between 1997 and 2012 is forecast to reach 33.7 million in 2023 and 47.8 million in 2026.
