An October 2022 survey investigated the share of sports fans in selected countries who were open to the idea of paying to watch women's sports. According to the results, 10 percent of respondents in the United Kingdom and Australia indicated a willingness to pay, whereas just three percent of sports fans in Germany were willing to do the same.
