According to a study conducted in July 2023, over half of scripted TV shows in the U.S. are forecast to be delayed or canceled from September 2023 to April 2024 if the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes are quickly resolved in July 2023. By contrast, if the labor dispute continues to January 2024, roughly three in four scripted TV shows will be impacted in the last quarter of 2023.
