In 2023, Globo alone accounted for about one-third of the advertising expenditure of the federal government of Brazil. Record and SBT followed with shares of about 9.4 and 6.3 percent, respectively. Out-of-home (OOH) media companies Eletromidia, JCDecaux, WE Super OOH, and MÃdia Banco24Horas collectively held a share of five percent. The Brazilian federal government's ad spending reached 358 million Brazilian reals that year.
