Austria: breakdown of monthly online B2C used car stock by fuel type 2023

In June 2023, Austria's monthly stock of used cars sold on online business-to-consumer platforms made up nearly 41 percent of the total online B2C used car stock, followed by used petrol cars at a 33.35 percent stock share. The supply increase of used BEVs (battery-electric vehicles) in a market with a declining demand for them lead to higher used electric vehicle (EV) stocks than used EV sales. In the month of May, electric cars had the lowest market share in the breakdown of used car sales by fuel type.
