Game genres with biggest impact potential for AI according to U.S and UK gamers 2023
Video gamers in the United States and the United Kingdom (UK) felt that genres where players interacted heavily with non-playable characters (NPC), would most benefit from generative AI. A March 2023 survey found that players thought open-world action games would feel the most significant impact of generative AI deployment, followed by role-playing games (RPG).
