According to a survey conducted in South Korea in March 2024, around 31 percent of respondents stated that recommendations from acquaintances was one of their channels of researching accommodations when planning a trip. Other popular channels included blogs and travel-oriented websites or apps, at about 22 percent and 21 percent respectively.
