Types of transfer fraud attempts in companies in France 2022
As of December 2022, fake customer fraud was the most reported transfer fraud attempt faced by companies in France, with roughly four in ten companies detecting it. False invoice fraud came in second, with 37 percent of respondents reporting facing it. Additionally, account number fraud or false bank details fraud was the third most common transfer fraud, with 36 percent of respondents stating it.
