In 2022, meat and meat-based products constituted the most important product for the revenue of supermarkets and hypermarkets, as they made up almost 11 percent of the total revenue. Vehicle fuels followed, with 10 percent share, with fruits and vegetables close behind. Overall, food products were the most important type of product for the revenue of large retail centers.
