Number of large retailers in Portugal 2019-2023
In Portugal, in 2023, there were 4,470 large-scale distribution centers, mainly food retailers, but also retailers of other specialized branches. Over the considered period, the number of large retailers constantly increased until 2022, when a 0.8 percent decrease was observed.
