Consumers' preferred types of coffee Australia 2021, by state

In a survey conducted in May 2021 among Australian consumers, cappuccinos proved to be the most popular coffee drink across the majority of states, with over 30 percent of respondents in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland saying it was their preferred type of coffee. Nonetheless, by a small margin, flat whites proved to be the most popular type of coffee in South Australia, with the state also having a higher appreciation for espresso compared to the rest of the country.
