During a 2022 survey, global respondents said that the hotel technology or service popularized during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that they would most like to see permanently adopted over the next three years was contactless check-in and check-out, with over 50 percent of the survey sample saying so. Meanwhile, contactless payments came second in the ranking at just under 50 percent.
