U.S. Emoji users on customizing emojis 2022, by generation

According to a survey conducted in the United States in April 2022, Generation Z were the most likely users to customize an emoji to better reflect their personal appearance, with 83 percent reporting doing so. In addition, 77 percent of Gen Z wished they had more emoji customization options to better reflect their personal appearance or identity. Baby Boomers were the least likely to change their emojis to reflect their appearance.
